ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 

Thich Nhat Hanh (pronounced “tick not hon”) is a world-renowned Zen monk, poet, and peace activist who has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Born in Vietnam, for the past thirty years he has lived in exile in France, where he founded the monastic community of Plum Village. He has also established monastic communities in New York and California. Thich Nhat Hanh travels actively throughout the world, teaching “the art of mindful living” to people of all backgrounds. He is the author of numerous books, including the best-selling The Miracle of Mindfulness, Peace Is Every Step, True Love, and Living Buddha, Living Christ.
