The figure shows an example of a University Residence, where the Laundry Service is compared to Web Servers. During the summer, fewer number of occupants are satisfied with a single set of washer and dryers. But once the student numbers increase in September, queues for the washer become common. One solution would be to acquire enough washers to handle the increased load. Another solution would be to outsource washing to an external laundry service.
