Before becoming a full-time writer, Alice Schroeder was a top-ranked Wall Street analyst and managing director at Morgan Stanley. Born in Texas, she earned her undergraduate degree and MBA at the University of Texas at Austin and began her career as a CPA. She now writes a column for Bloomberg News and is a senior advisor to Morgan Stanley. Schroeder lives in Connecticut with her husband.
