Part (a): There are 256 nodes connected to an interconnection network block starting from node 0 to node 255. The node block contains 3 vertical sub-blocks which are labeled C P U, Memory, and Directory. The C P U block contains a cache block inside it. All three blocks are connected to an M M U block using a local bus. The M M U block of all the 256 nodes is connected to the interconnection network. Part (b): A set of three blocks arranged horizontally labeled Node, Block, and Offset from left to right. The bits values of each block are 8, 18, and 6 respectively. Part (c): A table is shown with 7 rows and 2 columns. The address of rows is ranging from 0 to 2 raised to the 18 power minus 1. No value is assigned for row 2 and it's also a merged row by denoting approximate sign at both sides of the row. A zero value is assigned to column 1 of row 3, row 4, row 6, and row 7. Row 5, column 1 has a value of 1, and column 2 has a value of 82.
