
Part (a): A vertical block has twelve partitions. The first six partitions from top to bottom are labeled Magic number, text size, data size, BBS size, Symbol table size, entry point. The seventh partition is shaded with diagonal lines. Eighth to twelfth partitions are labeled Flags, text, data, relocation bits, and symbol table. The first seven partitions are labeled Header. Part (b): A vertical block has six partitions. The partitions from top to bottom are labeled Header, Object module, Header, Object Module, Header, and Object Module. The Header of the vertical block expands to another vertical block having five partitions. The five partitions are labeled Module name, Date, Owner, Protection, and size from top to bottom.
