All the parts consist of a set of eight blocks arranged in the form of circular shape. Each block consists of two rows and the bottom row is divided into two segments. The top row is empty.

Part (a): The blocks are counted from the top in the clockwise direction with segments labeled time of last use and R bit are labeled as follows: 1620, 0; 2032, 1; 2020, 1; 2014, 1; 1213, 0; 1980, 1; 2003, 1; 2084, 1. An arrow points from the center to the block labeled 2014, 1.
