There is a rectangular block with four partitions. The top first partition is labeled User Programs with three circles labeled Shell, Make, and Others. The top second partition is labeled Servers with four circles labeled F S, Proc., Reinc., and Others. The top third partition is labeled Drivers with five circles labeled Disk, T T Y, Netw, Print, and Others. The others in all above partitions are marked as Process. The first three partitions are categorized as User mode. The last fourth partition has two circles labeled Clock and Sys on the lower right end. Note on the fourth partition: Microkernel handles interrupts, processes, scheduling, inter processes communication.
