Some of the components of a simple personal computer are shown. The CPU, memory, and I/O devices such as Video Controller, Keyboard Controller, USB Controller, and Hard disk Controller are all connected by a system bus and communicate with one another over it. The Monitor is connected to Video Controller, Keyboard is connected to Keyboard Controller, a USB printer is connected to USB Controller, and a Hard disk drive is connected to the Hard disk Controller.
