*Not exactly everything. Much of the time my mind is simply “grazing”—noticing or thinking about things, and potentially maturing my awareness about something or other. I’m not writing down thousands of thoughts I have during the day. Almost all are complete in themselves. It’s the ones that create some open loop in my psyche—a restaurant I read about I might want to try, an idea for possible content for the revision of this book, something I thought of that I want to do for my wife, a question I have for my accountant, something to get at the hardware store, etc.
